DESCRIPTION:David Harris will be in town to address the entire Jewish commu
 nity at Congregation B'nai Jehudah. Vice Chair of the Institute for the St
 udy of Global Antisemitism and Policy (ISGAP)\, former CEO of the American
  Jewish Committee (AJC) from 1990 to 2022. Described by The New York Times
  as "the dean of American Jewish organizations" and by French President Ni
 colas Sarkozy as "the most effective\, influential\, and respected America
 n Jewish organization."\nHarris was called "the foreign minister of the Je
 wish people" by the late Israeli President Shimon Peres and is the most de
 corated Jewish organizational leader by foreign governments in U.S. histor
 y. He has received four honorary doctorates\, including one from Brandeis 
 University in 2022.\nOver five decades\, Harris has been pivotal in global
  issues such as the rescue of Ethiopian and Soviet Jewry and expanding Isr
 ael's diplomatic footprint. He has advanced interfaith relations\, combate
 d antisemitism\, strengthened Jewish identity\, and defended democratic va
 lues.\nHe graduated from the University of Pennsylvania and the London Sch
 ool of Economics\, and was a visiting scholar at Johns Hopkins and Oxford 
 Universities. He is a Trustee at Brandeis University.\nHarris\, son of Hol
 ocaust survivors\, is a Strategic Analyst and host for the Jewish Broadcas
 ting Service. He is married to Giulietta Boukhobza\, who\, as a Jew\, was
