Join Artist-in-Residence Cantor Josh Breitzer and his talented wife Donna Breitzer for an evening of song, good food and great fun!

Mezzo-soprano Donna Breitzer enjoys a varied schedule of solo and ensemble performances in NYC and beyond. Recent performance highlights include solo appearances with the American Classical Orchestra, Voices of Ascension, New York Festival of Song, St. George’s Choral Society and the acclaimed Choir of Fifth Avenue Presbyterian Church. An in-demand choral singer, she performs regularly with renowned ensembles including the New York Virtuoso Singers, the Bard Festival Chorale, American Symphony Orchestra and The Metropolitan Opera, where she has been a member of the Extra Chorus since 2014. A dedicated voice teacher for over 25 years, she maintains a private voice teaching studio in New York City and served from 2022-2024 as adjunct instructor of voice at NYU Steinhardt. Donna also co-founded the NYC chamber music series Five Boroughs Music Festival in 2007 and led the organization as Executive Director for 17 seasons. A graduate of the University of Michigan, New England Conservatory of Music and New York University, Donna lives in Brooklyn with her husband, Cantor Josh Breitzer and their sons Jonah and Gideon.
