Youth groups at B’nai Jehudah give our students the chance to come together throughout the year for learning, fun, community, service opportunities, and social time, all in an effort to help participants build and strengthen lifelong friendships with each other and deepen their connection with Reform Judaism.
We offer four youth groups, divided by grade level:
- 2nd-3rd Grade
- 4th-5th Grade
- 6th-8th Grade
- 9th-12th Grade
Each youth group follows their own schedule of monthly events; from stargazing and s’mores making under the stars in our Mitzvah Garden, to field trips to roller rinks and escape rooms, there’s always something fun going on with our youth groups!

Overnight/Shul-Ins
We are excited to offer Shul-Ins (overnights) at B’nai Jehudah for our 4th-8th grade youth groups! We will host dinner, play games (Gaga, Nine-Square, and more!), enjoy dessert and other activities (including a movie on our big screens!), and then sleep in the Social Hall or Chapel. Bond with your classmates, see what the building looks like after dark (flashlight tag anyone?!), and bring your sleeping bag!

Drive-In Movie Party

Bring your pajamas and bunny slippers, a pillow and blanket, because it’s time for a drive-in movie on our big screens! After designing your own cardboard car-fort, hunker down and enjoy the snacks as we spend the afternoon in our ‘cozies’ watching a movie together! Based on a group vote, the best cardboard-car wins a movie-themed-prize!
Shul-Ins

Come enjoy a night to remember at the Shul-In! This fun-filled overnight includes dinner, sweet treats, lots of games, Gaga, a movie on our big screen, and all the fun they can handle!

Who’s ready to hit the lanes? Put up those bumpers (or don’t!), grab your bowling shoes, and get ready for an afternoon at Bowlero! Whether you’re a proper pro, or a nifty newbie, come bowling with us and have some fun!
Cooking Club: Matzo Ball Soup & Personal Pizzas

Calling all young chefs in 2nd-5th Grade! Do you want to learn how to make a delicious pot of matzo ball soup? How about creating your own personal pizza? Come to our ‘Cooking Club’ event in the TTCBJ kitchen where we’ll (safely!) chop, boil, and bake our way to a delicious lunch! With Passover coming up, brush up on your matzo ball-making skills and have fun with your B’nai Jehudah friends!
