Celebrating a collection of the finest Judaica spanning centuries and continents, the Michael Klein Collection at The Temple, Congregation B’nai Jehudah is among the largest and most diverse collections of its kind in the United States.
The life’s work of B’nai Jehudah member Michael Klein, the purpose of the collection goes beyond beauty and appreciation. Each object has a story, and we share these stories with groups of all ages to educate, inform and inspire Jewish life through the stories that illustrate this rich history and culture. The collection continues to grow as new objects are procured from around the world.
The Collection offers a unique opportunity to engage with objects through a variety of programs at B’nai Jehudah. All programs are developed with the audience in mind. Each piece is thoughtfully selected to add meaning as participants are immersed in a single event, period of history, geographic area, style of art or holiday celebration. Topics are limited only by our imaginations, and are developed around a group’s interests.
With its invaluable history and ability to fascinate people of all ages, the Michael Klein Collection is an incredible resource. We offer a selection of pre-programmed tours and speaking topics, or we can tailor an experience specifically for your group.
