We are thrilled to launch a brand-new, service-oriented program for teens! Jewish tradition commands us to pursue justice and engage in tikkun olam (repairing the world). Join other B’nai Jehudah teens as we give back to our Jewish community and those in need across the Greater Kansas City area.
This program includes five hands-on service projects designed for all ages. Over our inaugural year, participating families will volunteer with St. Paul’s Episcopal Church’s Food Pantry, Happy Bottoms, Micah Ministries, B’nai Jehudah Chesed Meals and our cemetery.
Teens who attend 4 out of 5 sessions and participate in the Teen Impact Fellowship Shabbat service have the opportunity to earn a Certificate of Participation that they can include on their resume and college applications. All volunteer sessions will include (short!) engaging service learning discussions.
Do good. Feel good. Build community. Make a difference, together!
