Rose Hill Cemetery

Rose Hill Cemetery: A Sacred and Beautiful Resting Place

Since its dedication in 1921, Rose Hill Cemetery has served as B’nai Jehudah’s treasured and historic burial ground. Located at 69th and Troost in Kansas City, Rose Hill was established when the congregation outgrew its earlier section at Elmwood Cemetery. Today, it remains a serene, beautifully maintained space that reflects more than a century of Jewish tradition, dignity, and care.

Owned and overseen by Congregation B’nai Jehudah, Rose Hill continues our commitment to honoring those who came before us and preserving the sanctity of Jewish burial practices. Many early 20th‑century members of the Kansas City Jewish community rest here, making it a place rich with history and meaning.

We offer both full burial plots for caskets and half‑plots designed for the burial of ashes, ensuring families have flexible options that honor their needs while upholding Jewish customs.

Rose Hill Cemetery stands as a peaceful, enduring testament to our community’s past—and a compassionate resource for families planning for the future. If you are interested in purchasing a plot or learning more, we welcome you to reach out to our team.
