Rabbi Alexandria Shuval-Weiner has served as senior rabbi of Temple Beth Tikvah since 2015, bringing a dynamic blend of spiritual leadership, teaching and deep compassion to her community. A native of Los Angeles, she previously served as associate rabbi at B’nai Jehudah, where many in our community first came to know her warmth and creativity. Rabbi Shuval-Weiner made history as the first woman to serve as president of the Atlanta Rabbinical Association and continues to play an active leadership role in the Reform movement nationally. Ordained in 2008 at Hebrew Union College–Jewish Institute of Religion, she is passionate about Jewish learning, justice, spirituality and ethical living. Her work has included contributions to Jewish publications and leadership in organizations focused on spirituality and food ethics. In a fun pop-culture twist, she also served as a Jewish consultant and appeared on screen in “Agatha All Along.” Rabbi Shuval-Weiner and her husband Jay are proud parents, grandparents and beloved members of the wider Jewish community.
