Rabbi Burnstein will discuss the impact of the atrocities of October 7th on Kehilat Birkat Shalom including congregation treasurer, Lee Siegel, whose brother Keith is still among the hostages. We are blessed that Keith’s wife, Aviva, was freed in the hostage exchange on November 26, 2023. Steve would discuss the impact and responses of Birkat Shalom and Kibbutz Gezer with over 40 soldiers (including his daughter Gavriella) in active duty.

Immediately following Shabbat services, which begin at 6:00pm, we will have the opportunity to ask Rabbi Burnstein questions about Israel and the current situation. Heavy hors d’oeuvres will be served during the talk, which will conclude around 7:30pm.
