Endowment Giving

Dear B’nai Jehudah Family,

Just as the Torah is complete only when every letter is present, our community’s future is complete only when each of us takes part. We have a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for you to help write our congregation’s future.

We are proud to announce our L’dor Vador Endowment Campaign.

In March 2025, we received an extraordinary anonymous lead gift of 5 million dollars to our endowment. In addition to this transformational gift, the donor offered our congregation a matching dollar-for-dollar match of up to an additional 5 million dollars that comes in before December 2029.

As of today, we have already received over $4.5 million in pledges during the quiet phase of our campaign!

To make the campaign even more successful and transformational, we have also received an additional matching gift of $500,000 from Michael Klein, meaning the final $500,000 we raise will be tripled.

Please join us in writing the next chapter of Jewish life at B’nai Jehudah. Your gift, no matter the size, will be tripled and becomes a letter in the living Torah of our shared story.

This is truly transformational for our congregation and community. At the end of this journey, we will have built an endowment exceeding $20 million, a legacy that will sustain B’nai Jehudah for the next 155 years.

What is an endowment?
An endowment is a permanent fund that provides lasting financial stability. The principal remains invested, and the earnings support our programs, education and sacred spaces for generations to come. It’s how we ensure that Jewish life thrives not just today but for our children and grandchildren.

Why now?
We are close to our goal. With your help, we can finish strong and secure the future of our congregation. Every gift matters because every gift is holy.

Act today.
Write your letter. Make your gift. Shape our future.

Thank you for being part of this sacred work.
